On this picture taken in Zürich you can see the Hotel Zum Storchen at the bank of the river Limmat. This picture was taken from the Rathausbrücke during the blue hour. The illumination reflects into the water of the Limmat with a view reaching from the Hotel Zum Storchen at the Weinplatz along the path Wühre to the church Fraumünster and the Münsterbrücke.
These colorful reflections are coming from the skyscrapers at Manhattan an reflect in East River, seen from Brooklyn. The foreground bridge is Brooklyn Bridge, well know from many movies and offers a very impressive connection from Brooklyn to Manhattan, the central island of New York. This park, Empire Fulton Ferry, offers a nice view of the great Skyline of New York.
In this building, functioning as the Province Hall of the Dutch province Limburg) in Maastricht at the Maas reside the Provinciale Staten (parliament of the province Limburg) and the Gedeputeerde Staten (Government of the province Limburg). The chairman is called Gouverneur, but only in the province Limburg. His official title is the King’s Commissioner.
This picture was taken during the blue hour and shows this interesting building with the river Maas in the foreground. The illumination reflects in the Maas beautifully giving some extra colour and light.
The Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht is a museum of fine art. It is housed in a building from the Architect Aldo Rossi. It is considered a landmark of Maastricht.
This picture shows the Bonnefantenmuseum at night, taken from the other side of the Maas, making the river Maas a nice foreground for the building in this picture, with reflections from the lights on the other side.
Stoupa is a small village in the Mani at the Peloponnese. It has nice sandy beaches and especially British tourists seem to love this beautiful place.
