When driving from Kalamata to the Mani, once you’ve passed the highest point you arrive at this point with a terrific view over the Outer Mani. The Mani starts here with Kardamyli and reaches all the way down to the most southern point of this peninsula on the Peloponnese. On this picture you can also see Stoupa in the background.
From the shore of the water mouth of the Tanger flowing into the Elbe you can see the fortification of the old city of Tangermünde with a city gate and the Church of St. Stephan.
This picture shows Nafplio (a city on the Peloponnese, Greece), its fishing harbour with some fishing boats and the Palamidi Castle. Behind the waterfrond the old city of Nafplio (often: Nauplia or Navplion) is situated. Nafplio was the first capital of modern Greece after the Greek Revolution.
The harbour of Tangermünde is situated at the place where the Tanger leads into the river Elbe. At the end of the Quai you can see the silo of the harbour. On the right hand side the town fortification is visible. Behind that, the old city of Tangermünde can be found.
This is a picture vom the Porta S Giacomo in Bergamo during the blue hour. You have a beautiful view alongside the city wall and the upper parts of Bergamo (Citta Alta). From here one can see the bridge leading to the gate of San Giacomo. The city is nicely illuminated and in the background the mountains are still visible.
This is a photograph of the Rodahal in Kerkrade. It hosts a variety of events. The most famous are the WMC, the World Music Concours and the Schlagerfestival. But also on Carnival there are parties in this building.
This picture was taken from the Charlesbridge in Prague during the night. You can see the bridge itself and a gate, nicely illuminated. In the background Prague Castle and Prague Cathedral are visible.
From Tangermünde Castle the view over the river Elbe and the Altmark is phantastic. If the weather is great like on this day, it’s a real joy to stand here.
