The famous Island Santorini (also called Thira or Thera) is mainly a caldera of a volcano. This island offers many beautiful sunsets, especially in the villages Oia and Fira. Santorini also offers some nice beaches, for example the famous Red Beach. Also the architecture of Santorini is very special with the cave houses. These cave rooms don’t get hot in summer and don’t get cold in winter, a natural climate control. On the edge of the caldera you can often see the Aegean Sea on both sides, so you remember being on an island. Santorini offers a lot of great foto motives.
